Another new banger for your headpiece. DJ Jesus Face threw up a new mix, featuring a whole lot of gangster shit. And I'm giving him props for track selection here, as some of these tracks take me all the way back to high school and right up to the other day. He also gets extra points for putting a 5th Ward Boyz track on there, because I'm pretty sure that if you're not from Houston or you're not my age, you have no idea about the raw, classic shit that you've been missing for the last 20 years. Don't get me wrong. I love the Geto Boys, and Bushwick Bill's solo shit, and all the dopeness that came out of Houston after that (which also makes its mark on this mix). But outside of Texas, I'm pretty sure that a lot of people slept on other Rap-A-Lot friends like 5th Ward Boyz and Too Much Trouble. That shit straight ran my tape deck in the early 90s. Not to mention: Dre Dog? Really? Dude is a fucking legend. I do not joke around when I say that shit. I bought The New Jim Jones when it came out, and it probably changed my brain forever.
