Friday, Friday, Friday! Friday the 13th will see the release of a brand new book, Chicago Street Art, written and edited by Joseph J. Depre, featuring tons of photographs of all sorts of street art by tons of local artists. This includes quite a list, with art from such names as Artillery, Blutt, Bonus, Cody Hudson, Mike Genovese, Goons, Grocer, Saro, Chris Silva, Solve (R.I.P.), The Viking, You Are Beautiful, and a whole lot more. Photography comes by way of Oscar Arriola, Chris Diers, Thomas Fennell IV, Patrick Hershberger, and a grip of others. In celebration of the book release, an art show featuring many of the same artists will be held at the Chicago Urban Art Society.
