Art Game: Affordable prints by badass artists, courtesy of Thumbtack Press…

I've just been made aware of the existence of Thumbtack Press, which makes me late as hell, stupid for sleeping, or simply lucky to be smacked and told about it. In any case, the guys over there release juicy prints by some of the best artists around, and the "catch" is that they're actually affordable. Who, what, where, WTF? Yes indeed...Some of our favorite canvas murderers have open-edition prints available at Thumbtack Press, including Ken Keirns, Jeremiah Ketner, Jason Limon, and about a zillion others. While we are proponents of buying original pieces, we too can't afford one-offs by a lot of these guys. So, prints are the only option for a lot of us who aren't cleaning our bathtubs with carbon-fiber sponges and lighting cigars with $100 bills, and this site does it properly. Prints are available solo, framed, or on stretched canvas, giving you a variety of options to suit your taste and budget. I kind of feel like a fucking infomercial right now, but whatever. I like what they're doing and I like to see some very talented artists getting their work out there in alternative (and affordable) mediums. Check 'em out right here, and scoop up some delicious for your boring-ass walls. Pow! "Surrender Dorothy...You Bitch" by Ken Keirns; "The Longest Nap" by Jeremiah Ketner. "Here's My List" by Mike Egan; "Wasted" by Candykiller.

Listen Up: “Vitabeatavegamin” EP by Vitamin Green aka Tony Infamous…

Turn it up, yo. Our friend Tony Infamous has a new instrumental EP out under his moniker Vitamin Green. It features six tracks, with work from DJ Moppy and a cameo from the infamous Sharkula. You can stream it or download it right here. It's a very nice blend of a variety of styles, best described by me pasting his tags from the site: ambient classical funk hip-hop porn soul. How's that for a genre? Enjoy!

Listen Up: “The Rock ‘n Roll Era,” a new mix of late 50s and early 60s rock by DJ Jesus Face…

Yup, love this shit. I know a crazy amount of rock from the 50s and early 60s, as my dad always listened to the oldies station when I was a young buck. I can't get enough of it, so I'm very happy that DJ Jesus Face has laced up a new mix featuring 21 tracks from way back yonder. Give it a whirl right here.

Watch + Listen: “Crackers in Haterville” video by Matlock and Moodswangz…

The homies Matlock and Moodswangz have a new track and video out, aptly titled "Crackers in Haterville." Very well done, and I'm definitely feelin' it.
